The IRON CROSS WARRIORS RC started in Star Idaho with a group of people who liked to ride together in their free time. One of the ladies in the group Veronica "Vinnie" Wittel Goodman ended up getting sick and the diagnosis was breast cancer. This sparked a debate amongst the group wondering what could be done to help her.  Somone in the group came up with the idea of a charity ride and it was eventually agreed upon. The ride was named ''Vinnie's Warriors Bikers For Boobies" and ended up being a great success raising thousands of dollars for Vinnie and her son Rhys. Unfortunately, Vinnie passed away shortly after that first ride. However, her legacy lives on at the time of this being written we just held the 15th annual " Vinnies Warriors Bikers For Boobies Ride benefiting a different recipient battling breast cancer each year. The IRON CROSS WARRIORS RC was officially formed the year after that first Boobie Ride. As a club our name came partially from the name of our first ride but if you reference The Knights Templar, they were a Christian military order in 1119 they wore the cross as their symbol we adapted the cross along with the WARRIORS part of the ride name and have been known as the IRON CROSS WARRIORS ever since.

As a  charity club we have a special bond with our community and are committed to helping in any way we can. The IRON CROSS WARRIORS put on two major charity rides a year. We have the "Vinnies Warriors Bikers For Boobies ride" every March to kick off the ride season. The origins of this ride are explained in the prior section, and it continues to raise Breast Cancer awareness and funds for local women battling breast cancer. Our second ride is the Blue Beard Rally and is held every September this is a prostate cancer awareness ride, and the funds raised go to a local gentleman battling prostate cancer. In addition to the Blue Beard Rally there is the annual Blue Beard Breakfast held every August also for Prostate cancer awareness and the funds raised at the breakfast go to our Blue Beard Rally recipient chosen for that year. The IRON CROSS WARRIORS are a charity riding club and as such the heart of our cause is to raise funds for those in need while at the same time doing what we love, RIDING MOTORCYCLES!

Our club today has grown and become stronger, more unified and better dynamically than it has ever been in the past. We focus specifically and amicably on charity rides and events, not just our own, but others as 

well. We participate in charitable worthy causes, fundraisers, and other events that support other 

clubs in their charitable endeavors. We strive to better our community and each other as well. We are a 

band of brothers, we are WARRIORS, who will do anything possible to help those in need, whether it is for 

cancer, toy drives, a local tragedy, veteran(s), a downed biker, or it’s a brother or sister rider, we will do any and all things possible to help raise funds for any and all individuals in need.
